Here is a fun picture of my Grandmother and Great Grandmother in the kitchen. This photo was taken in the early 50's. I could only imagine Grandma must have been telling Great Grandma to take her medicine. If you notice the glass in the picture. Which I only just noticed they were even there the other day... and I thought, wow !!!" That's the glassware that was given to me when my Great Grandmother passed away in 1994".

I love these glasses. They are clear with silver on the top with silver polka dots around the glass. I am surprised that they have lasted this long. Yet, they are very special to me. In my Great Grandma's heavy Latvian accent she would say "Popanose" which, she meant to say Polka Dots. Well, because of her...... I have a fondness for Polka Dots !!!
