Giving Thanks Day One...Thanksgiving Desserts...

Kelli from There Is No Place Like Home is Hosting a Giving Thanks Week !!!
Thanksgiving is a very special time of year for our family. A time to give thanks to God for all the blessings . A time to think back in History, the Pigrima and the Indians that helped them out..The very first Thanksgiving in Plymouth, for what our fore fathers have sacraficed for our Country. These are only a few ......
Today I am sharing a couple Thanksgiving Desserts. Enjoy !!!!

The turkey has just been taken from the oven, bisquits are piping hot, the corn, potatos, carrots, squash and turnip are heating on the stovetop, and the pumpkin pie is now cooling on the cupboard. The table looks beautiful, covered with a tablecloth and set with the finest china and silverware. Everyone gathers merrily into the dining room as Mother gives the call that dinner is almost ready!

The aroma is very pleasing and everyone is more than ready to dig in and enjoy this bountiful harvest feast! Before carving the turkey and filling their plates, everyone bows their heads and folds their caring hands, as Grandfather says the grace, giving thanks to God for the blessings of a successful harvest, good health, salvation, and family.

It is a Victorian Thanksgiving!

In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1Thessalonians 5:18
