Okay, so last year we didn't get our Christmas treefrom our move so we borrowed my Mom's tiny Charlie Brown tree....
This year we decided to cut a fresh tree from a local tree farm...
It has been something like 11 years since we had a fresh cut tree.
And the kids thought it would be fun to
go hunt the perfect Christmas tree down.
That we did.
We pulled up to the farm and they gave us
this huge measuring pole to measure our tree.

It's beautiful! We did a real tree last year. This year it's fake again to save on money, and to make things "simple" for me. (No needles to vacuum up, *giggles*)
