Sew Scraps Along

I am home!
Just got back from my sisters house helping her out while she was recooping from surgery. All went well.Thank you everyone who sent her well wishes. We spent time caring for her, cooking dinners, shopping, taking her boy's to and from their school. Tried to do our schooling there as well as doctor visits.etc... I was able to finish up the pear canning as well as some dehydrating fruit, but didn't work on any dolls like I wanted. That's okay. Now that we are home we will get some things done from my list. perhaps a few dollies and start on my scrappy quilt!
I have joined up with Pleasant Home
for a fun Sew Scraps Along !If you have a bunch of scraps..stop over Jodi's blog and let her know you want to sew along! Hopefully I can keep up with her, since I have a billion and one other things going.
Now, I am off to get my scraps together.

This is the first project we are sewing along!
The photo's are taken from Jodi's blog.
This is just one of her gorgeous pieces out of many!!!
 Join in the fun!!!

  1. I'm so glad to hear that your sister is doing well after her surgery. I'll continue to keep her in my prayers as she recovers :) I was thinking of joining Jodi to for her scrap along but at the moment I have way to many projects on the go *grin*. Can't wait to see how yours comes along! Hugs.

  2. You are such a wonderful wife, mother, and sister. How you manage to do it all I will never know. All I can say is...Mica...you are one amazing gal. I know you feel very blesser your sister is recovering from the surgery and doing well. The scrap along looks neat. Wish I were younger and could manage more in my days. I am trying right now to finish my little Halloween quilt. My stitching went crooked last night so am having to rip today and start the quilting process over...Sister Rose Brendan always said...”Eugenia, if it is worth making, it is worth ripping.” Those words really stuck!!!! XOXOXO
