Museum Of Making Music

As a Home School group this week we went to the
Museum Of Making Music

A tour guide went through the history of instruments and the progression of how music and musical instruments have gone through the times.

Many of the instruments dated back in the 1800's to current times.

It was quite interesting.

And if you know my son....
whom is a very talented musician, really liked the see through piano...they also had a piano that had a lid made to look like butterfly wings.

There were things like this....
What the heck is it you may ask? Well, it is a phonograph AKA record player. For all you youngins who have never seen such a thing this was like our Ipod in the day.

It was a very nice experience, so if you are ever out in the San Diego area...

check it out !!!

You'll leave with a whole new look on music that is for sure !

  2. I love your blog...and I especially love your Christian rules. My friend and I were talking about that the other day. We both go to a blog that offers scripture and prayer. It says all the right things, then we find someplace else they are at and there is a reference made about "pole dancing". I thought...my goodness! I feel like whatever I put on my blog needs to be a testimony for Him. That where ever you find me, either my ehow articles or my website or my blogs, they all need to be about the same things...a testimony. Did you come up with those rules yourself? I would love to put them on my blog. Would you mind? Please contact me, I promise not to copy them, and you can come look to see anytime, if you don't want me to.
    Have a blessed day.

  5. OH my goodness! How funny is it that you and I are sick. Well, maybe not exactly "ha ha" funny! Thank you so much for your information on the creed. I told my friend about it, and I am sure she will "snatch" it,too! I will be praying for a quick recovery for you and no "sharing" to any others in your beautiful family.

    In Christ,
