Last weekend we were invited to our friends home for a late lunch and fellowship. I brought dessert of course...I just had to share this delightful, refreshing dish...It was a hit!
First you have to make a loaf of banana bread. I couldn't find my banana bread recipe anywhere, so I found this
Banana Bread recipe
which is pretty close to mine. Let the bread cool...In the meantime you will be preparing the remainder ingredients for the trifle.
I used the Gooseberry Patch 5~ingredient dishes in minutes magazine for the recipe.
Banana Bread Trifle
*****

5 1/4 oz. pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix, prepared
3 bananas, sliced

*****
In trifle bowl, layer half of the banana bread, pudding, banana and whipped topping; repeat to fill bowl.Top with whipped topping, and sprinkle walnuts over all; refrigerate until ready to serve. Serves 10~12.
Everyone loved it!!!
Enjoy!!!!
