Summer life has been quiet. Not too busy since we came home from our vacation. Mr. Darling has been back working on sermons for church. Freckles and I hang out...Slowly I have been putting things away from our move in February. I know it's been a while but I just kinda lost momentum. It's coming together and filling empty walls that need love on it. Freckles has already gone to a few functions with friends, swimming and a sleep over. She's been reading and working on her journal and some writing. The fun part of Summer is coming up this next week as she is going to her first Summer Camp up at Hume Lake with her friend Bella and their youth group. A week of fun and fellowship with other Christian youth/High Schooler's.
I also got my sketch journal out and decided to sketch and paint. Something I haven't done in a long time. I also decided to take an online class from Yes and Amen blog. I just wanted to try some new things out and gather up inspiration. It should be quite fun!
With all my jamming/canning...I have had jam on the brain...
So I drew up this delightful jar of strawberry jam...
Perhaps after taking Junelle's class, I will sketch and paint more goodies.
