Making Homemade Pink Applesauce

Here is Miss Bri and our Lovely friend Susan

Always wash your apples before preparing them.

Use about 6 apples. Cut up in chunks with the skin left on them.

By leaving the skin on, it creates the lovely pink color and adds many vitamins to it.

You will place them into a large saucepan with about 1/4 Cup of water. bring to a boil until apples seem soft.

Transfer apples to a apple strainer. They used one that has a crank . There are also ones you have to hand push through the seave.. you can also blend it in a blender on low.

Add about 1/3 Cup sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon.

Enjoy !!!!

  1. How wonderful! Do you mind if I add this (in a shorter version) to my cookbook?
