President's Day ....

President Washington was known to have said " Father I can not tell a lie, I cut the tree "

President Abraham Lincoln was known as Honet Abe.

We cannot all be Washington's and Lincoln's

And have our birthday's celebrated

But we love the things thay loved,

And we can hate the things they hated.

They loved the truth, they hated lies.

They minded their mother's taught them

And every day they tried to do

The simple duties that it brought them.

Perhaps the reason little folks

Are sometimes great when they grow taller

Is because, like General george and Honest Abe,

They did their best when they were smaller!
