These Hands...Are Love

These hands... have seen life, love, joy, war, death and sorrow.

These hands..... have dried the tears from cheeks, held those who needed care and touched the lives of many.

These hands..... have seen many years, waved goodbye to those they loved, prepared feasts for those who were hungry.

These hands.... have made blankets to comfort, sweaters to warm and music for pleasure.

These hands..... have caressed, soothed and reprimanded all in the name of love.

These hands... have held me close and gave me security.

These hands... are blessed

These hands..... are love.

These hands... are my Grandmothers.
