Our daughter received a very special package
in the mail for her birthday. Can you guess?
She got the newest American Girl Doll,
Rebecca from 1914.
She has been dreaming of this doll for quite some time.
She even looks like the doll !

she played with her for HOURS !

I do believe they are the best of friends!
we have a couple of american girl dolls around here. put away somewhere. I should get them out and let them live in my bedroom!

The pictures of her and Rebecca are adorable and you are so right,she does look very much like her new friend...I thought so right away...I love to see little girls having a love affair with their dollies. So many these days throw their dolls away so soon and take interest in more modern playthings. I pray these two will make many happy memories together. I had such an affair with Raggedy Ann when I was about Bri's age. She came to me one Christmas morning...sadly I don't have my original Ann but,have many to remind me of her smiling face.
ReplyDeleteI loved your previous post about your washroom.I am busy imagining my with a shelf like your filled with fun little laundry things. Mine is also our bathroom so not a lot of space in there but enough to hang a shelf(smile)...
