Freckles went to her Keepers At Home group this last week.
They all received their special aprons and
badge to wear each club meeting.
When they receive their achievement pins,
they will be fastened to the pockets.
They turned out adorable...I love the vintage feel to them.

We started out in prayer and singing hymns together.
Then, off to learn a new stitch for their embroidery samplers.

The lazy daisy stitch...
a little complicated for little fingers.
They did wonderfully!
I am so proud of my little lady.

After their sewing circle time they had the chance to make three beautiful cards.
Each month a girl & her mother teaches a class on a new skill.
This Mama and daughter even brought
a professional Stamp It Up! lady to help with the cards...

They need to send out a few cards to someone special
in their lives as well as write 8 letters in order
to receive their achievement pin.
The purpose of this lesson is to show that most wives
are the ones who write out Thank You,
Christmas, Birthday, and Get Well cards.
It is special to receive a hand written card or letter
during such times, making it very personal.

I am thankful that our little lady will have this experience.
One, I know will be beneficial to her when she becomes
a wife and mother to her own household.
I do believe that it is a rewarding job.
I pray she will glorify God in her work.

Hi dear Mica,I have been waiting to read another post on your little Keepers of the Home group. I truly have a desire to do this same thing in our church and feel God leading me to do so(for months now). If you don't mind could you email me with more info as to how the group was plan and set up...I don't mean to copy as I do have my own ideas but thought maybe your input would be helpful to me....this is so needed this day and time and it excites me to see God is leading others in the same area of ministry.....blessings. The little aprons are adorable..did you make them?
