Time For Art History

For our Artist/Art lessons this month, we are studying
Giuseppe Arcimboldo
an Italian Artist from 1530-1593.
He is well known for Portraits of heads made up
of a variety of objects, from fruit and
leaves to flowers and vegetables.
Arcimboldo's work falls in the period known as Mannerism.
To view his complete works and biography click on the picture above.

Miss freckles water colored a drawing of
Vortumnus (Vertumno)
AKA, Emperor Rudolf II.

The colors turned out wonderfully!
This is a great project for the Autumn Season.
The finished piece from my little budding Artist!
