Our New Cottage Doll house Tenants....

It's Rednesday already???
Hosted by
Boy time flies.
This has been yet another hard week for us here....
But still wanted to post a little something, it keeps me sane.
Mr. Darling is healing from his surgery,
yet the week started with two sick kids.....
and our dear friends funeral was today.
It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least.....
****

As many of you know we have a cottage doll house
which Miss Freckles spends much of her time playing with.
I have to say it was one of the best gifts I could have ever made her....
It has been a few years now since I built it for her...
and she still plays with it, for hours at a time.
We decided though, it was time for a wee make over...
I will share with you the changes soon...It is still a work in progress.
With a new makeover the cottage house needed new tenants
. They are waiting patiently to move in to their new digs.
Meet The Hopscotch family....aren't they adorable?
Their outfits are stinkin' cute too...all the cheery colors...especially the red.

They are also getting new furniture!
I made this sweet couch for the family room...
And soon will have a cozy Lil chair to match.
This sweet red couch was a project we got from
Thanks Elizabeth...we love it!
It is just perfect for this new family and their new cottage home.
Be sure to visit often, so you will see our little Summer project.
Thanks for stopping in!
Happy Rednesday!

  8. Love this little family and their little red couch!! With the help of my brother-in-law, I made a beautiful doll house for MY daughter too, but it's a good-sized one, because we made ours for Barbie! To this day, my daughter STILL LOVES her doll house! One of these days maybe I'll post it... We'll see! Happy Rednesday to you! ~tina

  12. Hi Mica! Yes, the pattern in at the website Crochet Soiree. You go to Projects from the top of webpage, to "view challenges", and there you'll see "May Crochet-Along". That's it! You may be asked to register, but if I remember right, it was very quick and simple to do!.. because believe me, I DON'T like registering for every little thing! THIS, however is well worth it, I think! ~tina (OH! and I am seriously considering homeschooling for next year. Do you know anyone from NY State, whom I might be able to ask/talk to about it?)
