Pondering Thoughts....

Today we are mourning a dear Sister in Christ who took her life yesterday.
I have been bothered about it all night ...
I can't even think straight with the sick feeling in the pit of my heart.
 I know she is no longer suffering and in the loving arms of our Lord.
My heartfelt prayers go out to her dear husband and family.
These are surely the times to embrace God's love.

I finally finished my very first square in a
100 blessings stitch along challenge.
My first blessing is first and foremost God.
I have a blog set up strictly for the challenge.
Please stop by there..
All are welcome to join in the challenge.

As I end this post....Please join with me a moment of silence
and prayer for our Sister In Christ.
We will surely miss her.

 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
  Surely goodness and mercy  shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
