Pins & Needles....

I am really enjoying my Summer sewing moments.
Just me and my sewing machine.
The soft humming of it's motor as I step on the pedal...
stitching together what I think is magical.
I have been working on some projects...
Long time over due!
Several years ago I was creating these sweet
pin cushions I lovingly call my Pin Poppets.
They are back!
I have just a few more to make before I put them in my Etsy Shoppe.
This particular one can fit in both palms of my hands.

I

I had also finished my Bee doll and Sold her the other day!
Yay!!!
I have more dolls up my sleeve.
just need a few more hands.

Lastly, I have been putting together a colorful little patchwork
picnic blanket which is made with a couple vintage pillowcases
and coordinating fabrics I love.
I am half way done!

It really has been a thrill to get back to the sewing machine creating the things I love.
Using these cheery colors has really brightened up my mood!
Happy Friday!

  2. Your pin cushion is absolutely beautify, and I love your bee doll. I adore red and I love quilting so cannot wait to see your quilt once it is finished. Am working on one right now in pale pastels. It was fun reading you like to use your machine pedal as I do. My daughter uses the “button” control on her Brother, but i could not make the change over. Have a nice weekend. Hugs, Genie
