This morning was a productive one.
The day is bright and full of colors to explore.
I started my day off with the not so
healthy but colorful Fruit Loops cereal..
One of my faves as a kid.
The kids actually finished their school day before noon!
I received the Shutterfly book I made online....
They sent me an offer I couldn't refuse, to make a 20 page book FREE!
Yup, it was free... I only paid the shipping.
So of course I made a colorful cheery book!
My day was brightened!
Freckles put together her Science experiment this morning
consisting of celery, water and food coloring.
I will share what happens to it in the next couple days.
We also said a cheery farewell to our little friend the Praying Mantis.
We kept him indoors for a week to observe him...
Which was super fun.
We witnessed it prancing on its pray and devouring
the thing in a matter of minutes.
We placed him out in the garden where he would be happy.
maybe we'll run into him again someday!
And, a delightful glass of my favorite green tea...Yum!
Hope your having a colorful Friday...
Here's to a wonderful weekend ahead!
Good afternoon, my friend.....what a sweet post. I can’t believe I did not get my act together and make the book when I got the same offer you got. Your book must be precious. Hope Freckles’ science project comes out well...am anxious to hear about it. Bye-bye little preying mantis...I know you all are sorry to see him go.

Very colorful! That green tea...is unlike any green tea I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI love color, too - so I love this post. You sound like a really fun mom. I teach kindergarten to get my kid fix, since my own kids are grown. How did you keep the praying mantis? What did you feed him?

I love reading your posts. They are so homey, bright and cheery! I don't know how you have time to craft when you're home schooling and baking..lol! I was preparing the Shutterfly book for myself when I realized that it was only free in the U.S :( Don't know why they would send me an e-mail about it..sheesh! Have a great week!
