I have been in the midst of a very unorganized home the last couple weeks trying to sort through every cranny of my house to declutter for our Spring cleaning garage sale this weekend. One task I had to get to was our school in a cupboard... Trust me this is better than it was...Though I found I still did some stashing inside.... Ugh!!! So here ya go folks...My cluttered school cupboard for inquiring minds who wondered where we did our school!
I had to come up with something for a school room since we don't have a designated space for a school room solely. This cupboard has been with us for about 10 years which served as our t.v. space for some time. I decided to use it to store our books we use for school and a bit more." GRIN"
With limited space as well as wall space I decided to paint the inside cupboard doors with chalkboard paint to serve as a writing area. It works quite well to show Freckles a lesson.
In this same space we have Freckles antique school desk which is fully functional and serves as another place to put her pencils, papers, composition books and lessons she may be working on as well as serving a spot to work on her writing. We love it! And it works out very well for what we are trying to accomplish.
Though small...it does the job. I like it though...For it keeps everything right in one spot with easy access ( unless I stash to much in it) As long as I keep it somewhat organized,
We even get to cheer the space up with our family pictures...Oh so cheery and homey! Hope you enjoyed the tiny tour of our school space. Happy weekending to you!
Love love your School in a cupboard we totally need one of those. I should start looking at garage sales for one. What a clever idea, having all our home schooling supplies in one place would be a blessing in this small apartment. Thanks so much for sharing a wonderful idea today!
