Welcome !!! Every Friday Kelli from
hosts a Friday Show & Tell.
Today I am sharing this sweet vintage P.J. Doll bag I found for my daughter when we went to some Antique Shoppes in Idaho.
I was smitten with her cute face... possibly circa 1940's or 1950's.
there is a slit in the back of the dress to hold my little girls jammies. Then sits on her bed for the next evening.

Hi, Mika!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and leaving comment! It's nice to see more Latvians in blogger world! :)
Lai Tev jauka diena!
(From those, who don't understand - it means "Have a nice day!" in Latvian.)

It was fun to see your daughter's PJ doll. I had one as a child, different than yours, but it still held the PJs. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!! What an absolute MUST to take home. I'm glad you found this for her...fantastic show n tell
ReplyDeleteYour doll is so sweet. What a great find!
ReplyDeleteI love that you put your children's artwork on your sidebar. I just might have to do that with my 4 year old's creations! :)
That was a great find for your little girl and is nice that it can be useful, too.
ReplyDeleteI remember those! I'm not from the 40's or 50's but we had them in the 60's and 70's!! Too cute!

Your daughters doll is awesome. My mother was into collecting old dolls like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

I've always loved these kind of dolls. Do you think you'd ever make them?
ReplyDeleteOh, and just another random question... Should we bring yard sale stuff over tomorrow? Or do you want to hold off on that still? With this weather I wonder just when we should do this!?
What an adorable pajama bag!!!
ReplyDeleteSusan
This is an unusal piece. I think one of my children had a winnie the pooh pajama bag. I also loved the quilt in your "I remember Laura" post.
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
She is beautiful! I don't get to go antiquing much anymore.
ReplyDeleteI saw you over at Ruuta's and had to say hi! Good to see another Norhtwest blogger.
Oh how cute! I remember PJ bags from my childhood but not with that kind of a doll face. I am so glad you found it!
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful, Mica! Such a sweet face.
