This week has been quite lovely.
The weather is warm with blue skies and a nice breeze in the valley.
Perfect for going out on a leisurely ride and take
in the sights and smells of fresh air and gorgeous flowers..
I took "Bella" out today with the kids.
Yes, I named my bike.
It's like how men name their cars.
I love my bike. She is beautiful.
That's just how she got her Italian name.
tee hee....
I decided to get a bike this Summer for long rides
with the family through the trails.
Oh yeah! and to get some exercise.
YUP!
I am gonna get in shape this Summer.
I have to take it slow though.
It has been some time since I have been on a bike.
I was pretty much huffing and puffing...whoosh!
Hopefully by the end of Summer I will be able to make
it through the hills without having to walk the bike (GRIN).
Whew!
Happy Summery Day
to you all!!!
La tua nuova bicicletta è bello!!!
ReplyDeleteHeehee, hope I translated that correctly *grin*. Love your new bike :) I haven't rode one in a couple of years either but I've got my eye on a couple of vintage ones similar to yours with the baskets in front. Have fun riding it :)
I love your bike and I LOVE her name!! How beautiful and fitting! xxoo
ReplyDeleteI got a bike from my kids for mothers day and I ride it almost everyday, once or twice about 4 to 6 miles every time. I love it! You'll get used to it. I rode mine around in the church parking lot across the street for 15 minutes to a half an hour at a time for a couple weeks til I got used to it!! Now I dont have any problems going for 5 or 6 miles. but I'm not riding up hills! Have fun on your bella! MIne is PINK and cream! very similar to yours!
ReplyDeletehave a great day!
