A Mad Hatter Un~Birthday Tea Party In The Works....

We can't be late for this very important date! My daughter Freckles turns 11 this weekend. We are throwing her a Mad Hatter Tea Party on Saturday. I have been making plans for the last couple months...
Buying all the treats and preparing the decorations.

We made tissue paper pom poms for the ceiling...They will hang above The Mad Hatters table setting. Charming...I can envision it all now! I can't wait to show you everything else!

Freckles and I set up the candy and treats to get an idea of where we want to place them. We are also serving several different tea sandwiches, fruit and salad.Tea will be served...either hot or cold along with lemonade. Oh and not to forget the birthday cake...I will be putting that all together on Friday!

All the guests have promptly RSVP'd for Saturday afternoon tea!
 We can't wait!!!
Off we go to finish last minute details! Come back to see the party pics.
Probably Saturday night some time! Have a spectacular day!

  5. That looks like such fun! My youngest turns 14 tomorrow and is having an ice cream sundae party. She picked out all manner of obnoxious candies and crunchies for toppings -- things I would have been embarrassed to have on my table back in the younger days of La Leche League, Mothering Magazine, etc. LOL -- but she and her friends are all 12-14 so it will be her day (hopefully a few moms will stay and have some tea, though!).
