Retreat...

Hello friends...I am still here. I took a short hiatus from blogging this last week...I also had the chance to go on a two day retreat with a group of ladies at my church up to Big Bear & stayed in a cabin. We actually got to stay in this particular cabin three years ago. It was gorgeous up there.... Great food, wine and fellowship with a craft to end the time together. Here is the little bed I slept in. Isn't it the cutest?

Though it was supposed to be a retreat...I didn't sleep well away from home and felt like I needed a break from the break. Finally I am back to normal and back to our regular scheduled program. Whew. I missed y'all and hope to visit some of your blogs this week. Oh and hey. Do you like this cute craft above? It's a Thankful Tree. Easy as can be to make...Just a large jar, a bushel of twigs, raffia and colorful scrappy paper circles with a punched hole to hang on the branches. I brought home an extra one too...So come on by later this week for a Thankful Tree Giveaway. Just because I am thankful for all my readers.

  5. Sounds like a fun little get away...my daughter ,Regina and I are going the second week in October to a retreat a few hours from our hometown. Also with some of the ladies from our church. We will be staying at some beautiful camp grounds associated with our denomination..we will have teaching, workshops and the like. Two nights and a day...I will be more than ready for home after that :) Should be a fun time though with some good spiritually uplifting evenings as well. I love your little "Thankful Tree". Blessings dear friend
