Saturday Tid Bits...

  

Happy Saturday.

Just popping in to say a sweet hello to my readers...And had to share a few tid bits. Freckles and I made a sweet treat and just had to share these yummy dipped cherries. I picked up some juicy cherries, which were mighty good mind you...Perfectly plump and sweet...We dipped them in chocolate and red candy melts then dipped them in sprinkles. It was a small cheat on ye' ole' diet...But well worth it. I promised Freckles, next time we would do strawberries....Her favorite.

  

Another peek into our little bird friends nest...And they have changed again...They are getting in their feathers and coloring. Soon these little bundles will be flying away. Oh, and I spotted number four...which I thought didn't make it. So we have four baby birds. Affectionately named...Winnie, Ethel, Pip & Birdy.

   

I've also been working on some other projects which I have been meaning to do for quite some time...Here is a little sneak peek...I will share it all on Sunday as I will be joining in Sunny Simple Sunday again. So come on back to see what I have been working on.

Oh, and I forgot to mention this last week...I added more goodies to our

Summer So Far....

Hey there, just checkin' in to say a little hello. Hope your Summer is going well. Not too much going on here since we just found out Mr. Darling has Bronchial pneumonia/pneumonia in his right lung and asma. Poor dear got worse this last week though he has never felt completely well since Winter when we were all hit with bronchitus really bad. The doctor was concerned if he should be hospitalized or not, will find out if he has improved on Friday. Prayfully he will not have to have a hospital stay. Please pray he will get better. Still no news on our move...We are completly waiting on the Lord. Though I have started packing several boxes of stuff I won't need. Might as well get a head start on hard work ahead of us, just to make it a bit easier and prepared. Well anyways....Last week we got to hang with Lee Koch for a few after church. Him and his wife are the sweetest people. If you don't know who he is a part from being our brother in Christ. He is a talented musician who was recently on that Voice show.

Our family also spent a time in the wine country and watched a band while eating dinner.

 It was well...alright. But still fun to go on a little adventure with my fam.

   

No huge plans as of now for the rest of the weekend. Probably will be laying low since my dear Mr. Darling is ill. That's all I care for, I just pray to God he will get better.

We're Almost Finished !!!

The first room to be completely packed was my daughter's. It was a lot of work since she seems to be the one with the most stuff. My friend Susan and I took down her bed. I looked so empty. Even Missy ( Our Dog) looked a bit confused as to why her bed was against the wall. Missy has slept in my little girls bed ever since we brought her home.

We have been non stop packing for the most part... taking all the packed boxes into the garage , which will hopefully help out the movers on Tuesday !!!

Yup !!! We are only a few days away from leaving our little home here in the Great North West. I can't believe it !!! I plan to drive me, the kids and the dog all the way, with short breaks and Hotel nights. Soon to be in the arms of Mr. Darling once again !!! There is still much work to be done. Saturday will be a big work day as Church friends are coming over to help with the yard and last minute things. The house will be prepared to rent out to someone. I pray to find someone suitable to stay here while we are away. More to come !!!
